Laura Pausini announces her big comeback.
A new single, a new album, and a new tour.
On the occasion of the release of her new single, LA MIA STORIA TRA LE DITA, out next Friday, September 12, comes the surprise confirmation of the highly anticipated new live tour:
IO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027.

Starting in March 2026, the spotlight will shine on her eleventh world tour, just over a year after the end of her record-breaking last tour. For the first time, the kickoff is set abroad, precisely in Spain, on March 27 in Pamplona, then Tenerife, and the cities of Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid, before moving on to Latin America with dates in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and then landing in the United States in Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and New York.
In the fall it will be Italy’s and Europe’s turn, in arenas of the biggest cities, before heading to Brazil in February 2027 and returning to her homeland with a mega stadium show, plus a winter reprise in Italy and Europe through the end of the year.

“Live performance is perhaps the most important part of every project for me,” explains Laura Pausini. “It’s the real goal of each of my releases: the audience. This year too I’ll try to reach as many cities as possible and present a show that fully represents me. I’m working hard to shape the right stage, the right setlist, and the right production to capture this new chapter of my music. I find it a blessing to have a job that gives back so much—that’s why I once again put myself at the service of my audience. For me, it’s more than a schedule: it’s a meeting with every fan who comes to sing with me.”

A very rich calendar indeed, reflecting the stature of an international artist who has been bringing her music around the world for over 30 years. This year she will present, alongside her most famous songs, some of the tracks from the new album IO CANTO 2, to be released in the coming months on Warner Music.
This project follows the path of the worldwide success of the 2006 cover album IO CANTO, created to honor the great Italian hits and make them known abroad—a way of thanking for her first Grammy Award received a few months earlier, which would also lead her the following year to her first triumphant San Siro, the first woman to conquer it, on June 2, 2007, in front of 70,000 spectators.

“After winning my first American Grammy, I chose to thank my homeland by bringing the Italian music I love most to the world—and so it was,” Laura Pausini recalls.
“Maybe for someone like me who started singing in piano bars, it’s natural to want to perform those songs that, even if not written by or for you, are part of your life and feel like your own. I’m still proud of it, so much so that I never stopped thinking about making more editions of that cover album, and the decision came during my long last tour that began in 2023 and ended on New Year’s Eve 2024.”

IO CANTO 2, unlike the first, will also be released in Spanish with the Latin songs she loves most. For Pausini, it represents “the summary of my career: paying homage to the songs of my idols, more than colleagues, as one of the greatest forms of respect, putting myself not in the spotlight but at the service of the song—with pride.”

The first single, LA MIA STORIA TRA LE DITA, will be available in four versions: Italian, Spanish (MI HISTORIA ENTRE TUS DEDOS), Portuguese (QUEM DE NÓS DOIS), and French (MON HISTOIRE ENTRE LES DOIGTS), accompanied by a video directed by Gaetano Morbioli for Run Multimedia.
The track, a reinterpretation of a 1994 Italian classic by Gianluca Grignani, will be released by Warner Music on all digital platforms, produced and arranged by Paolo Carta.

The first live performance of the song surprised fans who gathered in Solarolo on Sunday, September 7, for the inauguration of the first museum in Italy dedicated to an Italian artist. Pausini cut the ribbon and gave an impromptu preview to those present, in front of what was once the Pausini family home and now hosts the Laura Pausini Official Fanclub.
The only official fanclub, founded in September 1995, this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, marked on September 6 at the Palacattani in Faenza (Ravenna) during the PAU PARTY 2025, reserved for Laura4U.com members, the first to hear a preview of the new single in its various versions.

The Laura Pausini Museum will open to the public on September 13: a true permanent exhibition in the heart of her hometown, where the artist lived from childhood through her early career. It promises to become a favorite destination for Pausini’s fans, offering an immersive experience through awards, iconic outfits, and never-before-seen aspects of her story and unparalleled career.

The record-breaking singer-songwriter, a global pop icon with over 75 million records sold worldwide and more than 6 billion streams, recognized as the most listened-to Italian female artist abroad, the first and only Italian artist to win a Grammy Award and to enter the Billboard Hot 100, has also won 4 Latin Grammy Awards. In 2023 she was celebrated by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year—the first ever non-Spanish-speaking artist to receive this honor. She also boasts a Golden Globe, Emmy and Oscar nominations, and was the first artist ever to perform at both San Siro Stadium and the Circus Maximus.

She has collaborated with many of the greatest international artists of our time: Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Ray Charles, Phil Collins, Shakira, Mariah Carey, Charles Aznavour, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue, Alejandro Sanz, Celine Dion, and Michael Jackson. Among her most recent collaborations are an impromptu live performance with Alanis Morissette and a duet with Robbie Williams for the first official FIFA anthem, premiered during the FIFA Club World Cup final in New York, which will also represent the 2026 World Cup.

Laura Pausini has performed on the most prestigious stages worldwide: the first Italian at Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Olympia in Paris.

Over 40 countries in more than 30 years of career have hosted her live concerts, including Italy, Spain, UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Luxembourg, Monaco, Bulgaria, Serbia, Malta, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Canada, USA, Russia, and Australia.
