L’ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA

(THE LAST PINK NIGHT)
THE FINAL SHOW

19 March 2026 – Turin – Inalpi Arena

UMBERTO TOZZI, in the aftermath of LA GRANDE FESTA de ‘L'ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA THE FINAL TOUR’ – which took place yesterday, Sunday 5 October, and celebrated his last (sold-out) concert at the Arena di Verona – announces a surprise final date for his world tour, bidding farewell to the live stage with ‘L'ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA THE FINAL SHOW’.

Seven concerts in Italy (like the seven letters that make up his name) and five concerts in Europe (like the five letters that make up his surname). These dates seal the live cycle that began with his triumphant debut in June 2024 at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, touching on major outdoor events such as Piazza San Marco in Venice and stops at the sports arenas in Milan, Turin, Florence and Bologna, the most prestigious theatres from Genoa to Palermo and the most evocative squares in Italy, culminating in the magical nights of the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, the majestic Forte di Bard and the enchanting setting of the Arena di Verona. A long journey that has transformed every stage into an explosion of emotions and which today comes to an end with the energy of a tour that will be unforgettable for both the artist and his audience.

'Every stage and every stop on this tour has been a source of great joy for me, unique moments experienced in extraordinary settings in our beautiful Italy and around the world,' says Umberto Tozzi. 'It's exciting to think that it's coming to an end, but everything has its time. Now I am focusing all my energy on these last live dates, together with the audience that has never stopped supporting me. When the curtain falls, my love for music will never fade: there will be new projects and many challenges to face in the future. These concerts will be twelve unique events, just like my farewell concert at the Arena di Verona last night. And it's wonderful that all this is happening in 2026, a special year for me, because it will mark 50 years since my first hit, “Donna Amante mia”.

Tickets for the “L'ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA THE FINAL SHOW” tour will be available from 2 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday 7 October, on TicketOne.it and from the usual ticket outlets (for info, visit www.friendsandpartners.it).

To crown the celebration of this farewell to the stage, on 28 November 2025, “L’ultima notte rosa LIVE” (MOMY RECORDS, produced by Gianluca Tozzi), a double live album featuring 23 performances from the world tour rearranged with a large orchestra and five unreleased tracks, produced by Gianluca Tozzi for MOMY RECORDS and Bruno Carlo Oggioni for Art & Music Recording Studios.

Among the five unreleased tracks on this album is “Vento d'aprile” (April Wind), officially presented yesterday on stage at the Arena di Verona, dedicated to Elisa, a little girl who died in 2020 from a rare form of leukaemia. The proceeds from streaming this song will be donated to the AIRC Foundation for cancer research.
Umberto Tozzi thus confirms his support for research into this disease, a cause he cares deeply about and is at the forefront of: the announcement of the new live dates follows the special event at the Arena di Verona, which was one of the most eagerly awaited events of the 60th anniversary of the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research.
The show featured global pop icon Laura Pausini and the great voices of Italian music Marco Masini, Raf, Hauser and The Kolors. In six decades, AIRC has allocated approximately €2.5 billion to the best independent cancer research in Italy with the aim of transforming scientific discoveries into effective treatments.
The show will be broadcast soon on Canale 5.

After a 50-year career studded with successes and awards in Italy and around the world, more than 80 million records sold and over 2,000 concerts, the surprise announcement of his retirement from the stage was made on 15 March 2024 at the Olympia Theatre, the oldest concert hall in Paris and one of the most prestigious auditoriums in the world. The artist has performed there three times, and on 11 May 2025, it will be one of the unmissable stops on “L'ULTIMA Notte rosa THE FINAL TOUR”.

A charismatic and creative singer-songwriter and musician, Umberto Tozzi has become an icon of Italian music thanks to his timeless hits. He has spanned and captivated entire generations, filling the world's most important music venues with his loyal and diverse audience.

Tozzi's artistic career has been marked by numerous records in terms of recording successes, starting with 'Ti Amo', an unforgettable song from 1977, which remained at the top of the charts for more than seven months, breaking all sales records and winning that year's edition of Festivalbar. It crossed every border with its numerous reinterpretations, even becoming the centrepiece of one of the key scenes in the successful series “La casa di carta 4”.

It is impossible not to mention the global super hit “Gloria” – chosen for the soundtrack of Martin Scorsese's film “The Wolf of Wall Street”, but also for the cult film ‘Flashdance’ directed by Adrian Lyne - which brought Umberto Tozzi's name overseas thanks to Laura Branigan's 1982 interpretation of the song, which reached number 1 on the American charts and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for 36 weeks.

And then there were ‘Si può dare di più’, ‘Gli altri siamo noi’, ‘Gente di mare’, ‘Dimmi di no’, ‘Stella Stai’, ‘Donna amante mia’, “Claridad” (recorded by Luis Fonsi) and ‘Eva’, made famous throughout Latin America by Ivete Sangalo.

1982 was the year he received the Golden Globe, an award obtained with over 27 million copies sold in just five years, and also the year he was nominated for a Grammy Award with “Gloria”, sung by Laura Branigan. After winning the Sanremo Festival in 1987 with “Si può dare di più” together with Gianni Morandi and Enrico Ruggeri, in 1988 he came third in the Eurovision Song Contest with “Gente di Mare” together with Raf. In 1994, he won the Festivalbar again with “Io muoio di te”.

Yet another example of how Umberto Tozzi's art has always transcended all boundaries, geographical, temporal and above all cultural, is the impressive number of cinematic masterpieces and television series that have chosen the singer-songwriter's hits as their soundtrack over the course of his 50-year career.
Among the titles of Tozzi's hits that have entered the history of cinema and television series are: “I NUOVI MOSTRI” by Mario Monicelli, Dino Risi and Ettore Scola (1977), “FLASHDANCE” by Adrian Lyne (1983), “ASTERIX E OBELIX Missione Cleopatra” by Alain Chabat (2002), ‘HOSTEL’ by Quentin Tarantino (2005), ‘THE WOLF OF WALL STREET’ by Martin Scorsese (2013), ‘GLORIA BELL’ by Sebastian Lelio (2018), “TONYA” by Margot Robbie (2018), “SPIDER MAN FAR FROM HOME” by Jon Watts (2019) and “LA CASA DE PAPEL 4” by Jesus Colmenar (2020), SUPERSEX by Matteo Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini and Francesca Mazzoleni (2024), GRISELDA by Andrés Baiz (2024), DISCLAIMER - la vita perfetta by Alfonso Cuarón with Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline (2024).

Umberto Tozzi has collaborated with many unforgettable Italian artists over the years, such as Mogol, Dalida, Eros Ramazzotti, Gianni Morandi, i Pooh, Raf, Monica Bellucci, Enrico Ruggeri and Marco Masini, as well as international artists such as Anastacia, Francis Cabrel, Laura Branigan, Sergio Dalma, Howard Carpendale and many others.
